Common questions about our treks and expeditions
Physical fitness requirements vary depending on the trek. For moderate treks like Hunza Valley, basic fitness allowing you to walk 5-6 hours a day is sufficient. For more challenging expeditions like K2 Base Camp, we recommend at least 3-6 months of targeted training, including cardiovascular fitness, strength training, and practice hikes with a loaded backpack.
Our packages typically include accommodation, meals as specified in the itinerary, transportation within Pakistan, professional guides and porters, all permits and entry fees, and basic first aid supplies. International flights, travel insurance, personal equipment, and gratuities are generally not included. Detailed inclusions are provided with each specific tour package.
The best time for trekking and mountaineering in Gilgit Baltistan is from June to September when the weather is most stable. Cultural tours can be enjoyed from April to October. Winter trips (November to March) are possible for those seeking snow adventures, but many high-altitude areas become inaccessible.
Safety is our top priority. Our guides are certified in Wilderness First Aid and have extensive experience in mountain environments. We maintain a low guide-to-client ratio, carry comprehensive first aid kits and satellite communication devices, and follow strict safety protocols. We also continuously monitor weather conditions and maintain connections with local communities for the latest information.
