Our packages typically include: professional guides, porters/support staff, camping equipment (tents, sleeping mats), meals during the trek, transportation from meeting point to trailhead and back, permits and fees. Personal equipment (sleeping bags, hiking boots, clothing) is not included but can be rented for an additional fee.

Yes, most nationalities require a visa to visit Pakistan. The good news is that Pakistan has introduced an e-visa system which makes the process much easier. We can provide a letter of invitation to support your visa application. We recommend applying at least 4-6 weeks before your planned trip.

The best time for trekking in Gilgit Baltistan is from June to September, with July and August being the peak months. This period offers the most stable weather conditions with clear views of the mountains. Some lower-altitude treks and valley tours can be done from April to October, while winter activities are available from December to February.

Booking is simple! Contact us through our online form, email, or phone to discuss your interests. We'll create a customized itinerary based on your preferences. Once you're satisfied, a 30% deposit secures your booking, with the balance due 30 days before the start date. For last-minute bookings (less than 30 days in advance), full payment is required at the time of booking.

Our treks vary in difficulty from easy cultural tours to challenging high-altitude expeditions. Each tour is clearly labeled with a difficulty rating from 1 (easy) to 5 (extremely challenging). For treks rated 3 and above, we recommend a good level of fitness and some prior hiking experience. For more challenging treks, we suggest specific training for at least 3 months before your trip.

Safety is our top priority. All our guides are trained in wilderness first aid and carry comprehensive medical kits. On remote treks, we carry satellite communication devices for emergencies. We maintain regular contact with local authorities and monitor weather conditions closely. For high-altitude treks, we follow careful acclimatization protocols and can arrange helicopter evacuation if necessary (subject to weather conditions).

Our cancellation policy is as follows: Cancellations made 60+ days before the trip start date receive a 90% refund (10% administrative fee). Cancellations 30-59 days before receive a 50% refund. Cancellations less than 30 days before the trip start date are non-refundable. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage. In case of emergency situations or extreme weather conditions, we work with clients on a case-by-case basis to reschedule when possible.

Cell service and Wi-Fi availability vary significantly throughout Gilgit Baltistan. Major towns like Gilgit, Skardu, and Hunza have reasonable 3G/4G coverage and some accommodations offer Wi-Fi. Once on the trail, connectivity becomes limited or non-existent, especially on high-altitude treks. Our guides carry satellite phones for emergency communications. We recommend informing family and friends about your limited connectivity before your trip, downloading offline maps, and bringing a power bank for your devices.
